Wow! What a fish!
I'm very surprised Black Salties don't get used more than they do. I fished with them a year or so back for a few months along side fresh cut Shad and did really well with them. If the fish were tight lipped I still caught fish on the.Salties, but caught more on the cut Shad

sweeeeetnessss! All the more reason to fish Twok of the west!  Very very impressed. WTG. The previous record was short lived.  Are you calling it the Tawakoni of the West because it is incredibly fickle? Worth is a feast or famine lake. That being said...you are never going to a 40 40#+ day...or even 5 40# plus day. Nice fish by the way.

Worth is not the Tawakoni of the West. Tawakoni is a huge lake that has has done a good job of standing up to heavy pressure. Worth is a small, old, silted-in lake that is currently being dredged. It can't take handle heavy fishing pressure.
To put some numbers to it:
1. Tawakoni is 10.9 times larger than Worth
2. Tawakoni is 3.2 times deeper than Worth
3. Tawakoni is 46 years newer than Worth
