I don't have any experience with any of these kayaks. I like the lay out of the ascend. I have a perception swifty that I fish out of. It is very comfortable and it runs new for about $350 at Dick' sporting goods.
Here is mine. I put 2 drifmaster rod holders in the front and a anchor trolley. Works great for me. I drift for catfish with mine.
