My wife doesn't fish with me much but when she does I would like her to have a decent rod. She likes pink rods and I bought her 1 a couple years ago and its a peice of junk. Does anyone know who makes a decent pink rod that wont break the back? She only uses spinning tackle right now.

I believe Shakespeare makes a pink rod that will be inexpensive or you could get the st croix avid pearl. If those don't work for you you may want to consider going custom.
Gone fishin', be back at dark-thirty!

How much do you want to spend? I can build her one custom on a pink blank that feels really good.

I dont know how much I want to spend yet. I dont have the money saved up yet. I was just wondering what was out there.
Can you PM me about how much it would be for a 6'-6'6" Med. Fast action and also a 6' light Fast action.
She really likes crappie fishing so the light action might be what I would buy her first

Check out Academy. Not sure what they have in stock currently, but they have stocked rods marketed to women in the past. They usually have feminine colors and a shorter grip.
