Welcome to the internet. Hearsay and speculation are all that matters.

Car forums are the worst about this. Someone posts up asking about the manners of a certain camshaft and people reply, "It should be very streetable with those specs." Turns out the guy giving advice can barely change the oil and drives a Ford Taurus.

I've found that the people who know the most usually post the least. YMMV.

I have all three the 805 CB RM, the 795 swim bait rod and the 806 swim bait rod. I will throw it on all three this evening and if someone wants to meet me somewhere before they decide, you can test out all three also.

Just send me a P/M and we can work something out.

OK the results...The 805 CB RM is just fine for throwing the 10XD. It did not seem to overpower the rod. The 795 swim bait rod will work also but I liked throwing it on the 805 CB RM better.
The 806 swim bait rod is a bit too stiff in my opinion.

It handles swim baits heavier than the 10XD just fine.

It was a mere suggestion on a place to start looking. Not an, oh my god, you have to use this rod. If you dropped any sort of money on a rod with out going out and doing your own research, then you are an idiot.

The 10XD doesn't seem like a huge crank bait to me compared to some swim baits that I have. You don't need a swim bait rod to throw one on.

Thanks for the advice guys im lookin into 3 different ones including the Dobyns above, one of the Irod's, and possibly a rod from daiwa as well. Ill report back on it as well.

The swimbait rods I have just didnt feel right for it I think what I have being under 7'11 for those im losing too much leverage and taper thus creating too stiff of a rod for it.

The dobyns is my front runner.

I have thrown them on 7'10"MH BPS cranking sticks. Seems like it needs a little more back bone. But still for the price it works great.
