David and I talked about it thru the day and he figured it out. My darn motor is mounted crooked, just a tiny tiny bit, but it is so obvious to see now that he found it. I am so glad to know what the problem is. David is gonna fix it when he gets time. I will be so glad to take off and not have to do some creative driving trying to stay somewhat level. Ha!

Ok. I vacuumed and shampooed the carpet. Scrubbed my seats with vinyl cleaner and added protectant. Washed and shined up the boat. Organized all my tackle. Rods and tackle in boat. Snacks and drinks ready to add to the ice chest in the morning. Needless to say, I am so tired I am about to drop but... I am more than ready to hit the water. Will be on the lake in the morning. woot clap

Gloria, No where above did you mention that you had the oatmeal cookie's ready, Ha Ha , good Luck,

Hey Jerry... you are right, we had NO oatmeal cookies today. Maybe that is why I could not find any Crappie. Let me know when and I will show up at Cedar Creek with Oatmeal cookies.

Also just sold mu 1197 and put a new 1198 on so now having to find all the adjustments again to get it like I want it. Then I still am in the middle of putting all my jigs in some new boxes I got so I could separate them by weight and color. I am not looking forward to this, but has to be very soon, LOL!

Glad you got someone to find your motor troubles and can fix it!

Yes, I was so glad to find David. He came highly recommended and they were right, I am happy. Did not really have anything wrong with my motor, it just needed long awaited maintenance and I am just not able to do it anymore. My boat had set up a long time, I had not been able to go fishing and it needed maintenance and to be run. Well I gave it a good run and it is great now. My tackle had to be moved around, I do not envy you a bit in your change. My Crappie boxes I keep pretty neat so they are always ready to go. It was my Bass tackle... oops... now it is all neat again too. Yes, I still do a fair amount of Bass fishing too. eeks Wish I had that new unit you have.

Thank you for sure and the day was absolutely great, especially considering it is winter. And, thanks to you for stearing me right with David's #. And, David called me this evening to see if I had figured out yet what is wrong with my unit. Was too busy today to even think about it so, no I have not even started to figure it out. He said it probably is the transducer. I will listen for the "clicks" tomorrow and see if it is DEAD or not. My unit was at the top of the heap when I purchased them, now I am at the bottom for sure. Both the console and the deck are sporting the Lowrance 334c.

David saw my post and called me about my Lowrance unit not having sonar, see how great he is! Told me something to check for. However... I cannot hear the darn thing clicking or not since it is thru hull.

But... I'm back in business now. I had wanted to try a reset on my Lowrance unit but had forgotten the key combination. Finally had time today to get the book and look up my notes. Gonna put the info in my phone so I will always have it with me. I did the reset and my sonar is back working again. Now if I can get another day to get back to the lake.
