Anybody know what time Burke/Crenshaw park is getting stocked today?

Tried Tom Bass I again on Sunday. Cold and windy and once again, not a single bite.

This weekend, we are going to New Braunfels and my father in law is going to take us fishin' on the Guadalupe. Can't wait - surely I'll catch SOMEthing!!

I finally caught some! Countless hours and dollars have went into this, but damnit, I brought home 3 10" fish!

Got to Burke-Crenshaw park today as the stocking truck got there. I actually caught 4, but one was so small I threw him back. Also caught a small catfish, and missed 2 good bites. Might hit it tomorrow after work as well!

Anybody know when the next Tom Bass I stocking is?

Fished River Park in Fort Worth yesterday. Caught one Trout using Powerbait... saw a number of Bruisers caught; really like the size Trout the Water District stocks in the river!

Later in the day, too nice to not go fishing, went to Denison and caught four more Trout to make a limit... did some catch and release fishing; lost count but caught and released a lot of Trout. Yesterday's Video.

Yesterday was too nice a day... went back to Waterloo for more fun catching Trout. Limited out with five Trout. Also, caught and released a good number as well. Trout were actively feeding. Saw a number of limits taken on Corn, Powerbait, Powerbait Worms, and Super Dupers! Yesterday's Video

Glorious weekend for fishing!

We visited my in-laws in New Braunfels and they took us to the dam by Canyon Lake to fish the Guadalupe. It was a little crowded but that didn't bother the fish any. Everyone in our group caught something. We ended up with 23 total between the five of us who were actively fishing. Not bad! Next morning (yesterday), my son, father-in-law and I went for an hour and caught five or six between us.

In talking to my father-in-law who is an avid trout fisherman, it sounds like we need to hit that pond on stocking day. We (son and I) noticed, even on cold days, that the water temp there is pretty warm. So, trout may not be surviving much past that day. Also, I've hit the pond on a couple of really windy days and he said that would affect the bite as well. So, it made sense that I haven't had luck there.

Headed to New Braunfels this weekend. I heard there are other parts of the Guadelupe stocked with trophy trout. Is it crowed in those places and are the fish really hard to catch?
