Was steared right on motor maintenance. David came Sat and fixed me up good. And... he is a genius for sure. My 2006 Nitro has been talked about by everyone I could find over the years trying to find out why I have a horrible port side lean taking off. When on plane I am fine. David and I talked about it thru the day and he figured it out. My darn motor is mounted crooked, just a tiny tiny bit, but it is so obvious to see now that he found it. I am so glad to know what the problem is. David is gonna fix it when he gets time. I will be so glad to take off and not have to do some creative driving trying to stay somewhat level. Ha!

Ok. I vacuumed and shampooed the carpet. Scrubbed my seats with vinyl cleaner and added protectant. Washed and shined up the boat. Organized all my tackle. Rods and tackle in boat. Snacks and drinks ready to add to the ice chest in the morning. Needless to say, I am so tired I am about to drop but... I am more than ready to hit the water. Will be on the lake in the morning. woot clap

Hey RedTopLady i have a '07 Nitro 750 with a 90 hp on it and when the motor is trimmed down the boat will lean down on the drivers side but when its trimmed out it runs level, is yours doing that?

Well good luck with the fishing, making me tired thinking about going through my stuff to get my boat back ready for the spring fishing and I know this must be done soon.
Also just sold mu 1197 and put a new 1198 on so now having to find all the adjustments again to get it like I want it. Then I still am in the middle of putting all my jigs in some new boxes I got so I could separate them by weight and color. I am not looking forward to this, but has to be very soon, LOL!

Glad you got someone to find your motor troubles and can fix it!

Unless your drivers side is unusually on the left, what you have is a starboard side lean. I have a port side lean. And, yes when my motor is trimmed down and I come out of the hole until I am on plane my boat leans something awful to the port (left) side. That is the only thing I have ever hated about my boat. And yes, when I am trimmed out it runs smooth and level on plane.

Thank you all! Now, here is the report. Was absolutely a gorgeous, glorious day on the water. My boat is running great! I saw only one other boat on the lake. Now... I must admit there were no fish going under the knife. I had absolutely NO bites, not even a nibble. The other boat I saw had one only one guy fishing for Crappie and he reported no nibbles anywhere he fished. That is why we call it fishing and not catching. rolfmao All I can say is it was a great day on the water and I was so happy to be back on the water after such a long time away.

Now... if I can find out what is wrong with my unit on the console. Only GPS maps working, no sonar. Help! I need to do some troubleshooting to see if it is something simple or not.
