Went back to fishing the way I did before I had a real boat and loaded up the 2 man. Found em right off the bottom using a shad colored BG and my hand tied Blk/Cht. Caught quite a few. Hopefully the Crappie won't move too far before I can get back out.

WHILE I WAS IN THE SPIRIT OF THE OLD FASHIONED WAY, I FIGURED I WOULD FRY UP SOME THE WAY I DID BEFORE I HAD A FRY DADDY.

Griff, I just discovered something that is really good. I love that coconut shrimp dish they have at Red Lobster. I got to thinking why not coconut Crappie. Roll the fillet in an egg wash, then add some coconut to your Kelloggs Corn Flake Crumbs, Corn Meal, Bread Crumbs, or what ever you normally use. Then into the grease. Awesome!!!

Lol, that's funny Bobcat. Dutch, as tempting as that sounds, I'm going to have to pass on the coconut. It seems like it would be a tad too sweet for me lol.
