You'll be glad you're using at least a 5 weight when you hook into a big hybrid!

Thanks for the input, guys. It sounds like I just need to tie up some smaller flies.

If there's any water in there the Elm Fork right below Ray Bob is really good. I'm thinking about scoping it out this Friday.

Let me know if you're going for sure. I'm off every Friday.

Don't forget the Cypert Minnow pattern too!

I'm thinking early Friday morning say 7ish at Elm Fork.
Praying there's water in there.

Was up there Saturday, there's a good amount of water up at the Ray Roberts dam but the fish were nonexistent, saw a few shad hit the surface but not near the numbers of sandbass as the last few years. I wasn't there for too long so you may be able to catch some if you work around the area but unless some fish move upstream it's looking slim up there this year.

That "not" what I wanted to hear Austin!
Thanks, I'm probably going to give it a shot just to get out of the house. Being sick and in and out of the hospital for two months has me climbing the walls.

Doesn't sound good. Don't really see the need to be there as the sun is coming up. A little later and perhaps the water will warm some.

Go Mo, I'm in the N. Dallas area.
