How's the bite out there I'm taking off early and heading out there around noon plan on fishing till dark any ideas? Thanks guys

Fishing has been slow with water temps at 48 close to the dam and 43 up toward buck. I caught a nice 8 pound the other day in 2 1/2 foot on some rock with a black/blue Rock Crawler jig. I went out for about 2 hours and was throwing a red ratltrap and a Lucky Craft jerk, but now takers. Still found some grass in about 7-8' but what I found was dead. Did graph some in about 25-30 foot with shad but did not fish for them. Good luck!

Is there any grass still on this lake? Yes, west of Wolf Island toward Lick creek. watch for the coots
