I bought a new crappie rod at the Mesquite Tackle & Hunt Show and I'm looking for suggestions on a spinning reel to complete the package. It is a 10' Pro Angler and I'm looking to stay under $50. Thanks in advance.

We use Quanium Opti 10 from Academy $19.95 Makes a good combo

Thanks guys, I appreciate you taking the time to offer suggestions. I've been wanting to buy the Pro-Angler for a while now, I also bought the Pro-Angler TEX signature 7.5' catfish rod and put a reel on it that Danny King had recommended a Zebco pro-staff 888 spincast until I can figure out what kind of baitcast reel to put on it.

On the baitcaster get a Ambassador 6000. For the crappie rod you have alot of options. A Shimano Sedona or Sahara would be my choice but there are plenty of choices. For a 10ft crappie rod the reel is only used to hold line.
