I'm interested in Boat Insurance from BoatU.S. and would appreciate any feed-back recommendations?
I'm not satisified with State Farm (agent in Plano) and working to move my boat and House away from StateFarm.

BoatUs owns Seaworthy. I have them, no complaints and very reasonable.

State Farm is way easier to work with on your Marine insurance if you ever have to file a claim...

State Farm IMO is the best out there. several years ago I had to get a new hull on my javelin, first question was what insureance do I have. I told them state farm and the repair shop told me they were the best to deal with because they never balk at doing the job right. Every time I have had to use them they bent over backwards to help

Had a friend break down on lake champlain called for a tow and was told they didnt have a boat on that lake and for him to call the coast guard. But remind you thats why he got the insurance for the security if ever needed it. Well he needed it and they gave it to him allright. right up the you know what!

if your boat is over 6 years old its pretty much worthless, i had a claim on my lower unit and they only paid $1381 out of $4756
