Going to Lake Livingston this Saturday. Anybody fished here recently or heard anything about it lately?

There is some clear water on the north end. I would go for catfish they are feeding like crazy in the shallows on shad.

Good luck!

Actually went to the dam and caught 3 fish. 11 and 10 pound stripers and an 8 pound blue cat. Than they shut the gates from 7 to 4 and everything went sour from there. All in all a good day.

I checked out the south end today....and the water is in great shape. Today's catch about 20 white bass, 1 striper, and a pending water body record buffalo...sure put up a respectable fight.

At the dam yesterday, two gates open and no fish were caught from the bank or the only kayaker I talked to. I caught a dead duck on a rattle trap and that was it for me. No bites no fish.

Testing out the Soloskiff in the current.

Hey that's a neat rig. How does it function in the current there? 24 V or 12 V ?
