Hi Fellow Anglers,

I'm planning to take my wife to Texoma. She wants to go striper fishing. I haven't heard much report on it. Is it biting at all? We planned to launch at Juniper Point West. Any infos on the report will be greatly appreciated. II'm going to try out dead sticking. Wish us luck. Will report back on Saturday night. Thank you for the help.

Guy

Got skunked on catching striper. Got there at 8am and fished until 5:30pm. Fished at Cedar Mill and Miller Creek and East side of 377 bridge. I couldn't buy a bite to save my life. Drifted and dead sticking ineffective. Accidentally caught two crappies. One crappie measured at 15". Very disappointed I couldn't get my wife to reel in some striper. I guess there's always a next time. But we enjoyed the day well spent on the lake together.

Sorry to hear that. We had about the same results up north by the oil wells. Fished from 9-3:30 trying to dead stick. Couldn't figure it out. At 3:30 I caught some shad. Fished till dark with those and caught 2 about 5:45. 7&9 lbs. Hard day but still had a blast.

We fished the same area today aswell, we were in the 22ft galaxie cc with bee readys, we didn't do very well either, our first time fishing this lake. We boated 8-10 stripers biggest going 8lbs or so. Dead sticking zoom white ice flukes. Also the EZ 2 fish jig or Whatver it's called lol we're Hittin it one more time in the am before heading home.

Also fished up north with a group of fellow yakkers, we all caught fish but it was slow. Biggest also went at 8#. Wind picked up a little so we bounced. But any time on T is a good time. Here is my solo 23" fish nothing to brag about for sure but by this report I'm glad I went north.

I think we saw you that morning. That would be awesome to catch one that size out of a yak. Were you over by Johnson ramp?
