Not too early, but probably too cold.

If we'd get a few warm days now they would be there. HOT DOG for a good day catching SB at the Tram.

Our son loves to fish and is going to SFA. Are there places near Nac to fish on the Angelina from the bank for white bass? Thanks.

I've been wanting to check out the tram but I don't think my car will make it down there with all this rain.

Trees outside my office are starting to bud. It's almost time. I also make the run from Lufkin to Lock n Dam (outside Crockett) and River Ridge (Sabine River) a lot once the run starts. I will post up here when I go. Let me know if anyone wants to tag along.

Lock n Dam is all bank fishing. River Ridge has a little bank fishing near the boat ramp.

The run has, probably, started, and will get better and better until late March.

I have seen SandBass caught at the Tram as early as Thanksgiving.

This weekend may be good.

I have pulled a few football size sandies out of Rayburn the 103 bridge at various times. Not plentiful but big. I am sure they are more common up river.
