Had some crappie, striper, and lmb thaw out. I put in the fridge Saturday night since the wifey came down with the flu and couldn't think of eating anything.... Is it still good or would it be safer to toss it? Leaning on chunking it, sadly, but I think we would all appreciate it in the end.

I think I would chunk it personally. You could eat it, and then chunk it, but that isn't much fun.

smell it, if it smells ok eat it. If it smells bad eat and report back as soon as you can.

Don't do it unless you like being sick.

Bury it in your flower / vegetable garden. Don't waste it by throwing it in the garbage.

Cover in sea salt and water next time. A lot of fellow fisherman leave thawed fish for up to 5 days in frig without any problems ,and have done so for years.

If it smells good and ain't mushy, it's good to go. If it smells good but mushy, throw it away.

If it smells good eat it....??? I now I'm not the only one who got a perverted chuckle out of that.
