You need to book with Capt. Steve Barnes, you won't regret it.

I have fished with Chris Carey with striper express and he was a outstanding guide and fishing partner. I've heard great things about JD Lyle from my fishing budies but I have not fished with him.

Most good guides on the lake such as Chris and JD can either do live bait or lures. Some guides do justlures and some go with whatever is working for them at the time or what the client wants or a combination of bait and lures.

I've fished with many guides over the years including chris and JD lyle, Capt. Steve, Brian Prichard and many many more.

Chris only fishes lures and yes is very good.

But while there are Many guides I would be fine with taking a group of guys, when it comes to taking clients and or my family especially my grandkids, JD Lyle is the only one to use

For the last 5 years I only fish with JD Lyle www.texomaguide.com
Because he is one of the few guides on the lake that is proficient at both lures and live bait and will use and suggest whatever is working best at any given time.

JD has been by far the most professional guide I have used on any lake. his boat is second to none and he will work his backside off to get fish in the boat.

+1 for JD Lyle, contact # 903-647-0386. Been out with him several times, great guide and he also offers cabins to stay overnight if you want to do that.
