I need to get a receiver hitch and trailer latch lock. What are your opinions on these products? I have a Class IV receiver and Rangertrail trailer. Thanks for your responses.

You might want to do more than just lock the ball in the receiver. I put a bead of weld around the ball nut and very heavy industrial padlocks on the emergency chains to the truck. May not stop all thieves but makes me feel better that the only way they'll get the boat & trailer off the truck is to use a cutoff wheel to cut the locks and ball off. Hopefully that'll be too much trouble for what the boat & motor are worth. For long term storage I put all my trailers up on cinder blocks, take off the wheels, and padlock a cut-off ball in the hitch.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.
