Neighbor looking for good mechanic or shop he can rely on for service and repair for his 250HP Suzuki outboard Anyone now who I can steer him to in DFW area ? If it was Mercury it would be a no brainer, David with Speciality Marine in Waco. Thanks

Just in case you don't get much responses:
I don't know anything about them, but there is a Suzuki dealer in Roanoke.

Don't waste your time at cable las ft worth. Although they are a listed Suzuki dealer, they could care less if you get your outboard worked on. Also Suzuki marine USA is no help. I would suggest Martin marine in caddo mills or maybe Mr Fixit around desoto. I haven't been to the viper boat company so cannot say one way or the other.
I have a 2005 200hp four stroke and an 85 model 85 hp. Matt at Martinez has done work on the 85 and I was pleased. My experience with my 200 is that no one carries software and can't fix it. Although all the codes are listed on the Internet and I fixed it myself.
Suzuki outboards are great motors. Suzuki USA could care less about customer service.

I've used North Texas Marine, near 820 & blue mound rd, with excellent results. They are a factory authorized mechanic.
I don't care for how they require you to leave the boat while it waits for it's turn to be worked on though... would prefer to pay a deposit & hold boat until they're ready to start. This time of year it probably won't be long.
