I know that the lake has came up a bit but at the marina what depth do y'all usually fish? I understand it depends on the weather but I was wondering the average depth that y'all catch em.

At the Marina there is no hard and fast rule.I have caught them upfront in the brush near the Coke machine(real shallow brush) or way in the back. (kinda deep one crank off the deep brush)just move around.

Elmo does a great job of keeping the marina brushed in! Keep moving around. Find the brush, you will find the crappie. My biggest fish came from 2 foot of water this year. I agree there is no hard and fast rule about depth this time of year. Just go and enjoy a roof over your head, good snacks, goood people, good crappie!

Anybody know if they are turning on the lights, or do they close at dark? The lights used to be on till 10pm.

Went there this morning around 7:30am...caught 3 dinks. About 8 people there. Only 1 keeper. I went home at 11:00am.

I think we were talking to you this morning, you had the custom rod? I was with my two other friends.

Tomasc- That was me I ended up with 1 keeper and about 6-8 dinks didn't seem to matter what color you just have to hit em in the head.

P.S The guy that built my rod is on the forum goes by txninja I highly recommend him.
