Has anybody been catching fish recently on Grapevine? I have a friend coming in to town that really wants to go fishing on Friday and was hoping to put him on some fish. Any pointers?

Thanks

Couple of warm days in a row, I'd start throwing suspending jerkbaits around main and secondary points.

I haven't been out there in a while but heard it has been pretty slow. I have a club tourney out there this Saturday and will let you know then how it was for us.

out there 4 hours today and just 2 fish. a 2 and 3 pounder, well the 3 came unbuttoned when tried to swing in boat pro style. I'm not a pro. wink I tried to get a bite on something other than jerkbait, but couldn't. Tried lipless, shakey head, and jig. I needed to practice my pitching, so just went into twin coves for it. Does anyone ever catch them off the trees? that's how you usually catch them at Fork, but don't think I see many pitching trees at Grapevine.

There's no fish on the trees back there... Only at fork thumb
