We sent out some product samples and the first reults are in. Now please remember fish are fish and as such they will do what they will on any given day. One day it may be the in-line spinner the next day it may be power bait and then one day it may just be all Trout Trix. Having the right arsenal increases your odds of a successful trip.

On to the product testers words, he is known as Smitheaven here on the TFF.

Conditions
12 degrees F with the wind chill
10 MPH wins from the North

"I went to the local pond this morning just as TPWD arrived.

I caught 6 fish in one hour and fifteen minutes. I threw the second one I caught back to keep from limiting too soon and kept five for pictures and dinner.

I used one rod rigged to your specification with a #16 gold treble hook and a 1/8 oz egg sinker and your bait in yellow.

The other rod was rigged with a 3/8 ounce sinker and a #20 treble hook with Berkeley Power Bait in the same way as I have caught hundreds of trout over many years.

Immediately both rods got a fish at the same time. From then on they pretty well alternated, with the final score being 3 and 3. For reference they would not hit my favorite Panther Martin spinner. Not a tap.

My conclusion so far is your bait is about equivalent to Power Bait. It seems to stay on the hook better.

I did not have to worry about keeping it cold this morning."

The only draw back was that the weight we suggested a 1/8oz was too light in the 10mph winds our tester had to deal with. We will probably reccomened a 1/8-3/8oz weight depending on conditions.

Currently we are waiting for the arrival of our trout hooks, flouro carbon leader line and swivels so we can start to produce and sell our trout rigs.

However, we are ready to take orders on Trout Trix

Trout Trix
12 Pieces; baits 40 hooks
24 Pieces; baits 80 hooks

Shipping is $3.00 and comes with a cold pack, local pickup is available I live near the San Antonio Bass Pro Shops.

Now for the pictures,

Here is an image of my buddy and I limiting out last week.
