Worse. I refuse to go in the Texarkana store anymore. I went in 3 weeks in a row a few months ago and it was rearranged everytime. I couldn't find anything . When I left, I told them I wouldn't be back.

They call it cross merchandising. If they have a lot of stock it gets out on the floor. It's also impluse. Well, their cross merchandising along with their prices that are high as a giraffe's a$$ is costing them business. I'm sure of this. Very true. They just re"organized" the one down here and Im sure they lost half of what they used to have. Seems like they've been in the process or reorganizing it for over a month. They're still not done.

How about lower some prices instead

I went to the one in Corsicana about 2 weeks ago and it did look about as well kept as the ledger on a rednecks check book!

Another thing they do in Retail is change the Floor set. It is to insure that customers do not get tired of the way the store looks. All stores do it

Its all about the "Impulse Buy" i hate it, But rest assured it will never change. 90% of what i buy is from online retailers. I can look for exactly what i want and it pops right up. Gas saved, frustration saved, And i dont buy from the big retailers if i can avoid it, I like to help the smaller companies as long as their prices are competitive.

They are re-dueing the layout of the fishing side, Tyler is a mess right now because they are awaiting the new inventory.

200 YDS. Segar 12 # Invisx @ Gander $22.99 They are $.70 higher on regular sized flukes, too. I don't remember how much higher on Rat L Traps but they were higher. In College Station I don't see how they are going to make it when they are right beside and within walking distance of Academy.

Academy recently moved into a new location in North Houston at 1960 and Hwy249. The new store is huge! They have an indoor archery range. They now have the reels out on a counter like BPS and also a huge selection. They have more reels on display than I have ever seen them carry. Their tackle inventory is much larger as well. They look like they are trying to compete with BPS and Cabelas. We only have two BPS's in the Houston area and they are on the south and west sides of town. Will have to see how they go with the pricing.

Yeah I get to wanderin around with everything I'm lookin for all over the place get more mad the longer I'm there, then I gotta take a dump. I hate public rest rooms so I go home and then nothin comes out.
