Pescador- sometimes they go over a spill way here and get there bills broke off or mangled.

Do you keep those things? Are they good to eat, how do you catch them ? Bait or snag with a treble hook ? Don't mean to bombard ya with guestions, just I don't know much about this kind of fishing... If Killer is going,I'm also interested.

These fish are excellent eating! They are steaky not flaky like catfish. We put them on a grill. These fish are super clean because they are a filter eater and only eat plankton. We do snag these fish just because that won't bite a hook. You talk about an awesome time! Where can you go and average 25-30 pound fish anywhere in freshwater! It's an awesome time!

I'm very interested in these fish. I've never seen them before. The one with the yellow tape on its bill, did someone try to tape the broken bill back on? Lol

I'm very interested in these fish. I've never seen them before. The one with the yellow tape on its bill, did someone try to tape the broken bill back on? Lol In order to keep one, you have to tag it just like you would a deer. Tag has to stay attached to the animal all the way to its final destination for processing.

I'm in Oklahoma. I called the Texas wildlife department and they said as long as they are tagged from Oklahoma you can have the meat in Texas.
