IMO, it was not worth the $12 for admission.

There's 4 or 5 other posts just like this. Might be easier to just read them.

I hope it was a great success. As large as the DFW Metroplex is we should have one of the best shows in the country. I decided not to attend becaus once you add the fuel cost, admission and time of travel. it was not worth it to me. I hope the next show can be closer to Fort Worth. Thank you.

It was better than we have had in a few years. It needed more fishing tackle like Olsen's Pro-Am. I spent more money than I intended to, but got some good deals. I thought that I read that Brannen's Tackle was going to be there. $5 for a cold drink was too high, but food was good.

I thought it was a good show. I was glad to see the wrist bands used rather than the stamps or something else. It made it easy to leave and run to Whataburger and then come back (plus that was a cheaper lunch).
I would suggest that any seminars find a way to be in a location a little quieter so that the speakers don't have to compete with any announcements made through the overhead speakers. Plus some of the speakers are not very load and the surrounding noise from the show made it difficult to hear them.
I'm in Little Elm, and didn't mind the drive, but I'm sure that people toward Ft. Worth might have had to reconsider. What about moving it to a more centralized location like Arlington Convention Center?
Oh, and what about a 3-day pass, a 2-day pass, and a single day pass? The 3-day could be cheaper in the long run if you intend to come to all 3 days.
Thanks for putting it on though. It was good to go and get that fever to go fishing.

Thanks for putting it on though. It was good to go and get that fever to go fishing. I agree about needing to improve the organization of the seminars. We were less than10 feet from the speaker and had to strain to hear him because of the surronding noise, chain saw demo booth across the aisle and the anouncer making lenghy and loud announcements. Without better seminar accomadations, I can't see charging 12.00 a pop to soley shop for tackle.
