How do you keep you hands warm during the cooler months? I find by keeping my head and feet warm... my body directs warmth to my hands in most cases. Also, keeping my hands dry is a must.

I don't go when I would need something to keep my hands warm. Catching Crappie 10 months out of the year is enough for me. We put out brush piles the other 2-3 months.

Hot hands, a good pair of gloves to wear driving and several wool fingerless gloves I can switch out if they get wet. I also have a tank top propane heater for mornings when it is in the 20's like last Monday on Fork (My minnow cooler's lid froze shut driving to the lake).

You might try HotSnapZ. They produce 130 degree heat for about an hour. You get 6 HotSnapZ 3" X 5" pads for $25 . Other sizes are available. Skiers and Scuba Divers love them. I think you will too. They are totally reusable and you activate each one with a click when you need some extra warmth.

Take a look at the video. They are nothing more than a Heat Battery. You put the heat energy in by placing them in boiling water. Once charged, they hold the heat until you activate them with a click.

Go to HotSnapZ.com to see the video.
If you decide to order some, when the Promo Code pops up, type in Take10 and you will get 10% off.

Chemical hand warmers, one in each glove, last all day, cost about 40 cents/pack. Also can be put inside your shirt, hat, or socks.

If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,
there'd be a shortage of fishing poles
