Is the boat ramp usable and has anyone been catching any? Thinking about trying it tomorrow.

Went today, I was the only fool to weather the wind. Caught 3 at the aframe, and the rest in 25ft in he basin near the dam 1/2 crank off the bottom. They are biting just dress as if your going duck hunting. 1.25 inch slab bandits rigged upside down on 1/8 oz jig. Jokers wild was the ticket. Russell Also fished Purtis Creek yesterday. Crappie were in the basin flats in 25-30 ft near the concrete overflow right on the bottom. Blue/Chart and Jokers Wild was the ticket as well. That is an awesome lake. Russell

The lake is 3 feet low. The ramp is useable. However, watch the rocks on the ramp and do not back the trailer too far. If you have a big boat it may be too low for you.

Between rain and the holidays I have not gone lately, but before Christmas they were biting in 14 feet of water. The crappie are running big this year.

Let us know how you do.

Thanks Russell, think a 20ft boat can be launched without problem? The a frame is always a good bet in the winter.
