A great friend is driving 1000 miles to bass fish in March with me. We are happy to pay for the access. We will "leave it better then we fine it" and are catch and release unless the owner wants fish taken out. We will document each fish for owner if he would like the info. I live in college station and will travel up to 100 miles for good water. If you have great water that I can show off our great Texas waters to a friend from Kansas please let me know .

Good luck, but there isn't anywhere in Kansas that's 1000 miles to College Station. If you get out around Colby it's around 800 miles but not 1000.

+1 I use to be a member of PWF. It is a great opportunity to catch a lot of fish. The only reason why I am not a member is because there really aren't any sites close to my house, and I would have to drive at least an hour to the closest lake from my house. You won't go wrong with PWF.

Yes, Private Waters is great. I fish their lakes almost as much as I do public water. I'm not sure how you would be able to swing bringing a friend without being a member yourself. Go to www.privatewaterfishing.com and give it a look. You can call Brian and see what he has to say. There are some lakes down in your area but I haven't fished any of them. I'm not sure this will be an option for you unless you want to join and it is very much worth it if you do. Best, Jackson P.S. Or..... Andy Bloodworth isn't in Texas. He's in southern OK but he will show you so much fun fishing a private lake that you will wiggle in your boots.

He can pay a guest fee for his friend along with sending in a registration form. Up to 3 times in the same year I believe.
