Thought I would experiment with a game camera in the truck pointed over the boat. I think it worked pretty good. My favorite gamecam is the Bushnell and I got the one that doesn't throw off a flash, but now that I think of it a flash might actually deter the methhead before the break-in.

I strapped around the rear seat headrest. You couldn't see it through the tinted windows from the outside.





I used my roommate as a tester! I left the tailgate down to get more view.

Nice work, it would be great to get a email notification when the camera goes off, or even put a motion detector set up on a video camera linked to your lap top in your room.

that is possible, but that would be the level 2 system. I use an internet game cam at my Kansas property and get an email immediately. an easier system that doesn't exist yet would use wifi since you are just close in your room. for example here's a little buck eating corn yesterday in Kansas while I was on Fork fishing.

I hope you are not relying 100% on your camera to protect your stuff. Just my opinion; always take your stuff out of your boat when you are staying at a hotel.
