You can fish them all year long when the bite is slow... Dams, rocky points and grass cover... My son bagged a 7 pounder at the dam on Grapevine wind was blowing 5-8 miles per hour late afternoon but they have also been caught in all water no wind so I believe they are a universal all year bait... Twitch.... Twitch.....twitch and if they don't hit move about ten feet and repeat.

I have been throwing these since the mid 80's. Love to throw them around stump fields and rip them across grass, if it isn't too high. Favorites: Gold/Orange Belly and Silver/Orange Belly.

Anywhere and everywhere when the fishing is tough, on rocky points and over grass on Amistad especially when it's cold!
