Its a great time to fish for catfish up the river!! Try at the 2nd and last no wake markers.

Went today. Water was nice. Lost an easy 9lb LMB next to the boat. Only bite of the day, we fished pads and cover around the dam.
Lesson learned: always being a net. Always.

nets are a curse. kinda like having a camera in the boat with me. Come to think of it, ever since my cell phone had a camera I havent caught very many toads....hmm.

I was out there yesterday.. The middle part of the lake was very stained.. Around Schumans Ramp the water looked normal to me.. I managed to catch 2, Caught a 4 pounder on a silver crank bait with a yellow stripe in 5 feet of water near some docks.. Then a few cast later I caught a small one.. Then nothing else the rest of the day.. Wierd.. The one I caught was mid lake where the water was stained.. The water looked like Choke Canyons water..

Went out again today.. Water has already cleared up nicely.. Slow fishing though.. Only managed one small fish today..
