Mr. Crappie is what I have been using but I thought since I haven't bought any in 3-4 years maybe there was something new on the market I should check out.

P-Line: Clear Fluorescent CX premium. Seriously the best low memory Fluorocarbon, you could not make a straighter line with a ruler.

Really like Sufix Siege 6lb. Been using Berkley Big Game my entire life but think the Siege is better. (Thanks to Machinist for introducing me to the line). Took me 2-3 months to finally try it and don't think I'll change soon.

I like something a little bigger than 6lb but if you want high vis I really like suffix siege neon tangerine. It's the bright orange suffix you see at academy.

It used to be that all the stores carried it. Most carry some of the P-Line other products, but this one in particular I have recently only been able to find at Bass Proshop and they are always in stock.

The best 6# line hasn't been made yet. I use 10# braid with a 12# mono leader and I catch a lot of crappie.

I use Sufix Siege Neon Tangerine, 6# & 8# on the 2 rigs I use most and 8# & 10# on 3 other rods I keep rigged & ready. It's a great line IMHO.

I am with Guy...I use braid with 10 lb strength/2 lb diameter and it certainly heightens the overall sensitivity. I am able to free more of my jigs with the no stretch line also. When I did use mono, I fished with the Mr. Crappie hi vis line and I sprayed line butter on it to retard the memory...worked well too
