I am going to Caddo in April. I want to go ahead and find a good map to study. Any suggestions?

The only map I know of is the AID one. Just make sure you get a newer one with the new numbering system for the boat lane markers. This map will really help you find your way around the lake. It's really not very good with depth lines but the whole lake is shallow except for the river. My partner and I won our clubs Classic in the river channel this past April.

Also be very careful outside of the boat lanes. Lots of rock hard cypress stumps.

This is a great and really pretty lake. Have fun!

I caught my personal best from this lake a few years ago. A 10.66 on a six inch BPS watermelon red sticko fished with a very light nail weight.

I don't remember the brand, but the little store at Shady Glade resort sold good maps.

The maps at Shady Glade are AID maps unless they got something new in the last few months.

Martin's has a map of Caddo? It's not listed on their website.

I've used the AID maps on my most recent trips. The map shows the coords of boatlane intersections.

My map chip for the gps doesn't have Caddo shown very well. A tip I used was to enter the coords of some of the major boatlane intersections as waypoints on my gps. Then when I ran along the lanes, I had better reference points on my unit to help me figure out just where I really was in relation to where I wanted to be...
