What did you think of the boats, guides, lodging, food etc.? It's a lot cheaper than Anglers Inn.

I haven't but have some friends who have. The lodge and rooms were adequate. The food was good. The boats were average but the guides were excellent. They all caught PB's several times during the trip and never felt unsafe. The top guide was Gil (pronounced Hil)

I stayed there and it was excellent. The staff was friendly. So were the guides. I'd stay there again in a heart beat.

My friends and I stayed there last February. Lower price to stay than most at the lake and we were picked up by their van at the Mazatlan airport. Nice friendly staff and good food. Great service! Decent rooms but not Holiday Inn. Had a great guide for 2 of our 3 days but a bad guide on the last day that more than disappointed us. Largest bass for our guys for the 3 days and 4 nights was a 9-3.

Great place. I'd use them again without hesitation.
Fouz is spot on with Gil.

If you do`nt tip pretty good at the end of the day you will get a half-pass guide. What it was like last time I was their in the early 80`s. Everything was good.
