 Anyone bass fish Conroe lately?

Bass fishing Conroe this Saturday don't fish there very often. Will be putting in at Stowaway's any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking of fishing the whole day in Caney area. Is this a good area to fish? Should I beat the bank or find dropoffs? When do the bass start their move to spawn? I know the weather is suppose to be raining with wind.

Lake i really shallow. Watch out for hidden sandbars. Just be alert.

i think its only like 3ft low now..you wont find to much conroe info.too many tournaments, guys stay pretty tight lipped it seems

I'm not asking any specifics, just ideas on what to throw or what is working now. Fising dropoffs or what?

Water temp was 56-58, it was tough for me only 2 bass and one nice hybrid. Water is commin up alittle, and clarity is good.
