All of them are good except for Salvinia. The rest of them are what a lake needs.

Hyacinth is not good. It will grow so fast it will compltely block a creek and you can not get a boat through it. Just ask the people on lake Mathis before the water started dropping. There were a few creeks completely clogged with the stuff.
Now I love to find plenty of the hydrilla andf milfoil. I would like to see it growing in Falcon. At least I would have an idea where to fish....lol

Do birds have to wash their feet too?

You can avoid having ulcers by adapting to the situation: If you fall in the mud puddle, check your pockets for fish. ~Unknown

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.

No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

The giant salvina is the worst invasive aquatic plant to threaten our waterways. It grows very, very fast and is the hardest thing I've ever seen to kill. If it gets in your lake it will just take over. The only thing we have seen that will knock it back is a good long freeze.

They sprayed Fork 3 years ago to get rid of Salvinia and hardly any of the grass has come back. Please make sure you clean your boat if you've been in a lake with the bad weeds in it.

Had a bad out break of it here 3 years ago. The freeze took care of it in the winter but the seeds can live dormant for up to 7 years on the lake bed. 2cents

Yes, even with Hydrilla is illegal. We saw a bunch of the Giant Salvinia in the Pines in October up the river.

so we pretty much all agree that 4 of these supposedly bad plants are actually welcome in fork and falcon. just another government entity wasting money on problems which most of us think aren't problems. good thing they know whats best for us and our thoughts don't really matter
