how well does the catfish bite in the rain

Depends on what mood they r in............seen many skunks in the rain but also a few Bigguns caught........

I would hit a deep hole in the Trinity. Big baits and wait. If you catch it will be big.

I fished a friends pond a while back and was getting skunked until it started raining. They seemed to be focused on the bank where there was a lot of runoff. Guess they know the rain washes food in the water?
