planning a trip next week but was wanting opinions on which lake might be best to fish next week. Seen possible snow at fork tuesday, so kinda made me wanna head down to falcon.

Falcon from what I have read has been a bit slow as compared to the past at this time of year. That said, it is hard to miss out of a trip to Falcon regardless of what the reports are.

Fork right now without a doubt. Read Falcon Lake Tackle's fishing report.

I would try to reschedule the trip to later if that is an option. Might be pretty tuff right now on both lakes.

I agree I'd wait about a month and go to fork. Let the water temp warm up some

Falcon is slow as carp right now but it is still falcon. Fork is hot right now for big fish. If I was to make a trip if probably go flip a jig at fork for a few days. Bound to catch a toad

Falcon has been super duper slow, and I mean real slow. But then again big fish are still being caught. While Falcon is producing big fish, it is still very slow. I think a typical day around these times and in these fishing conditions here in Falcon you will only catch about half a dozen fish no joke! You have to really work hard for them and even like that, there are days where you might not catch a fish. Its tough man!

Anyways, wherever you decide to go, best of luck!

Sounds like Fork may be the place to go! Any theories why Falcon is not producing as it has in the past?

The water has been super low this year and for some reason the fish have been stacked up but not biting at all. I think it has something to do with the bait fish activity. We will find out when the Elites hit it this year
