I am planning on heading to Rollover pass late this week for some bull reds and hopefully some big stragling flounder. I have not seen a recent report for rollover pass so I was wondering how it has been down there. We are supposed to see some rain coming in till thursday and was planning on fishing friday daytime with my buddy. He saw a magazine article saying they were still catching big female flounder that were making their final push through the pass. Anybody had any luck there lately? Went last week and it was an off day. Nobody caught anything except one guy caught a 35 pound bull red that had a huge chunk taken out of em from a bullshark. It was also windy that day and raining the night before. He caught it on fresh dead mullet. We used live mud minnows, frsh dead shrimp, shrimp bites and only got a couple of strikes. A lot of people were there for hours and giving up for the day. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read my posting.
