 Looking for used boat loan with good interest rate

I am about to purchase an 2005 Bass Boat and I am shopping around for the best rate for a 7-8 year loan for approx. 15k-17k amount to borrow, Anyone got any loans recently that can beat 5.75% which is thru EECU credit union. Thanks

Ok, thanks Ken, so you don't think that can be beat with excellent credit ? There may be a couple small credit unions that have lower rates but the terms may be really short too. Most regional or national lenders will charge a bit more on a used boat. Honestly, if you like the payment at the term they offered you, take it. Thanks, Ken

Fireman K, I bought an 02' Nitro and got 6.25% from Lone Star CU for 5 years and that was considered a good deal on a used boat, so 5.75% sounds like a real good deal to me!
