Thinking of going to Grapevine tomorrow for the first time. Anyone doing any good? Jigs? Minnows? both? Any help would be appreciated!!

been fishing it all year, fishing sucks right now for some reason, i just haven't figured out where they are I guess. I just want to know if anyone else has been catching any, don't care where, just want to know if it's possible lol.

Caught three in 20 fow. Been very slow. I have heard some are catching in marshal creek but not sure where. Tourismon is right, the fishing has been bad in the vine ever since the lake turned over in early December. Hope this helps and hope you find some slabs. I am eagerly awaiting the lake to start producing again.

I have fished a slip in Grapevine all year and for the most part have had best luck with minnows. I usually try an umbrella rig with various color plastic...slab bandits etc. But generally go back to minnows for the best results.

I have been fishing a marina all year and the last 3 to 4 weeks have been dead. No action whatsoever. Today's catch after 3 hrs is one 3 inch dink.

Thanks ya'll. Went out today and fished 8 -2. Nada. Not even a nibble. Found good baitfish balls at the dam, around twin points , even tried the marinas but couldn't buy a bite. Its tough for sure.

I concur, the slip fishing hasn't been real good lately. But, a buddy of mine did catch ths hawg the other night...  Other than that, just a lot of perch jerkin going on.

I caught 9 keepers on thanksgiving, went last Thursday and fished 3 hours and caught 3 keepers. To top that day off I guess a turtle snapped my basket rope. So they're 3 keepers in a basket on the next to Far East slip.
