Which do you prefer to throw and why? If you use braid do you use a leader? I know the simple answer is "depends on what I have tied on!" so let's assume we're talking mostly about Jig fishing. Any particular brands/size that you guys have found to be better than another for either braid or fluoro?

30lb Fireline with a 20lb pline floro leader (leader material)
I use that 99% of the time when Jig fishing. I even use that setup with a football jig. At times I have used a copoly for a football jig when I need more distance in my cast.

Jig fishing for me is generally around grass or other this cover so it will be Braid. I really like Power Pro and for most purposes will be using 65 lbs. if its more open and clear water it will be 15-20 lb Seagar Flouro

Jigs - 50# braid in stained to muddy water 20# InvisX flouro in clear water
Crankbaits - 15# InvisX flouro all the time
I might make an except to the crankbait line if I'm throwing a Rat L Trap and ripping it through grass....then I bump up to 20#.

Straight braid in grass/wood/dock situations in water less than 15 feet that has some stain to it. When fishin' chunk rock/boulders or open water (deep water points, humps ledges, submerged islands, fluoro leader or straight fluoro. My "leader" is at least 15 ft, but more like 25 or 30 feet in deep water. Fluoro for clear water too. Almost all my rods have braid on em and depending on where I'm fishin' and conditions and bait im fishin' dicatate the "leader" or not. It's cost effective too.
