Just found this out on You Tube. Good tip on reusing braided line at the end.

good morning,

been marking line with magic markers for years, i use blue, green and black for all my lines including braid, does it work?, i think so...i normally mark about 1'(________) every foot or so to break it up in the water...carry 'em in the boat all the time...

good luck,
PURA VIDA,

I've been marking my line with indelible markers for years. I make inch long marks about 3 or 4 to the foot, 8 to 10 feet up the line from my bait. Any kind of line. You can lay your line on the bottom in shallow water, and see how it breaks up the profile of your line. I use this primarily when fishing Crawdads. Thanks for reminding me. I'm going to use this on jigs and worms as well.

I Just heard about this tip and started using it this year. Not sure if it makes a difference with more bites but it makes perfect sense. Never know what might give you an edge.
