I' been fishing an A-rig quite a bit here lately and not having a lot of success with it. I can see the potential but I've got some refining to do before I can really be effective with this lure. Have lost a few in the deep timber on Fork and 65lb braid is a must, found that out the hard way at $25 a pop, loose a few and it stings. Just wondering if any of you guys are having any luck with this rig, tips or ideas? BTW I have fished areas with the A-rig put it down and caught fish with other lures in the same areas.

Wish I had info for u but I've yet to catch a fish off of it and I've been fishing it for months now, I just put it down, pick up my jig rod and start catching them with what I always do, and yes 65lb braid is a must I learned the hard way also

Throw it deep and make sure it hits the bottom then reel it slow

I've found that they work best when you find a school of them feeding AND using electronics. Just cast and wind doesn't yield results. Most of them were on bridges or main lake points in 25ft of water. BPS has the Arigs on sale for $7 BTW.

Its not a search bait and only is effective around feeding fish that are schooled up. When u see this on ur graph u can catch quite allot of fish make sure to match the hatch

Use the cheapest rigs you can find to minimize expenses cause your going to lose them and fish road beds. Mark the fish, cast and let it sink to the bottom then creep it back to the boat

If you need to pull stumps to make a boat lane on Fork, use an A-rig!

What Aaron said. Fish it deep. Look for fish in 25-32' of water and let it sink all the way to the bottom. Then real it back slow pausing like a spinner bait.
