Was wondering if the crappie were doing any good on Tyler? I really never fish it much for crappie but I know there is some in there, but I have never done any good. If so are they in the deep water or mainly on brush piles? Thanks alot

Thanks guys. I actually went this evening and tried about 4 different piles that I knew of we caught a total of 4 in about 3 hours but only 2 were keepers. Some of the brush piles I found in the deep looked loaded with fish but really no great bites. Hopefully they will pick up soon. Good luck to y'all and thanks again

Has anybody tried on the Old Lake where the water intake is? I used to go there years ago and slaughter the Crappie but I have not been over there in a long time.

Actully I was using minnows and jigs in 27 foot of water by the dam on the new lake. We only had a few bumps on the jigs. The pile I was fishing showed lots of fish but be only caught 3 and we got to tired of loosing hooks and fighting the wind so then we actully went to the old lake and did try the water inlet. Didn't see much but we fished anyways, caught 1 keeper there and had just a few bumps we were in 17' there. I think the deep water is the best bet right now water temp was 46. Hope that helps y'all.
