We got 108 lbs of fresh shad and gizzard shad in today. They are all pretty good size 6-8 inches with a lot up to 12 inches. They are fresh not frozen. We have them available at our Garland store, and are open tomorrow on New Year's Day.

I picked up some mackerel sardines and smelt for 1.99lb at the Asian market in grand prairie....hoping they work

Mackeral works great. As do anchovies. Even when frozen. Shad are awesome but dont seem to work at all if frozen.
