7ft MH Denali Jadewood, 15-20 fluorocarbon. 75% of the time I fish a senko weightless, the other 25% of the time I use a 3/8 or 1/2 jig.

6'10" Falcon rods for me, a Lowrider and Cara with Shimano Castaic reels. I have 50lb Power Pro on one and 20lb Big Game on the other. There is no magic combo, like anything else it takes practice to get it right.

Flipping is having a set amount of line out, controlling the lure by holding the line with your hand in front of your reel and placing it in exact spots which a longer rod helps. Pitching on the other hand is what I believe most people label as flipping, a shorter rod might help with close quarters.

Anything in tight surroundings, I have an old Falcon FC-7-16, a 6' hvy "Broom Stick"for a rod, too bad they don't make them anymore. Its has a revo sx with 20lb silver thread an40. Its just for special occasions. Other than that, I too use a Falcon LFC 6-1610 Grass Rod or Falcon CC 6-17H
