Just recently bought the ranger .
When I bought the boat it had a old beat up 4 blade prop. I bought a lighting 23p prop and larger diameter than 4 blade .
Old prop would run about 55 mph
New prop running 57mph with 5300 rpm
My question is when running down the lake at 5300 to the trim seems to max out and stop lifting the motor at about 1/2 on gage.
Is there something wrong with trim.

You can only trim so far when the motor is running past a certain RPM. Keeps you from trimming too high and possibly burning up the motor! If you're looking for bow lift I would try a Jackplate. Talk to Steve @ Steve's Custom Props and see what he would suggest he has probably set 1 up before and could give the best advice.
