Looking to buy a scale before ATC. I want one that can be certified. I see two on Big Carp Tackle that look promising.
* 4000 Reuben Heaton Standard Angling * Reuben Heaton Digital Scale
Which one, or is there a better one out there?
PB Carp, Common - 24 lb 12 oz PB Buffalo, Smallmouth - 50 lb 00 oz PB Carp, Grass - 14 lb 15 oz PB Catfish, Blue - 22 lb 00 oz PB Bass, Largemouth - 8 lb 00 oz

Most people prefer the analog scales; can't run out of batteries at an inopportune time. I have the digital and have had some questionable weighings...but overall prefer the digitals.

And to take advantage of cerified accuracy you will need a tripod and imediately weigh your sling while it's wet.I really don't think accuracy of within an ounce is ussually obtained, simply because of water and drainage factors.

I've had the same RH Analog since I started. I've had mine since 2004 or 5. I wouldn't even THINK of going with another brand/style.

I have the Berkley 100lb scale certified and its within a half ounce well past 60 pounds.I admit it was pricey but has never failed me.The batteries last over a year with alot of use.
