Lews t pro, out casts my Mgx even with light baits, next up in the light bait distance for me would be the quantum smoke

I use an Ambasseduer 4600c spooled with 10 lb line even drop down to 8 for some things. I have Shimano Chronarcs and the cores in the 50 series but still prefer the 4600c for the really light stuff.

Get another Daiwa because they are mag drag. The centrifugal drag Shimanos don't spin as easily. Trust the "1",the FZ1.

I use a Revo sx for nearly all bait casting but you didn't specify you were looking for a bait caster. I also use a Shimano Saros 2500 that is smooth as butter for casting any light weight baits. Have two and love them.

Core 50, or for a cheaper price point Daiwa Lexa 100 is great for the throwin lite baits
